I have an Intex krystal clear sea water system for my pool luxury. What doesthe code: "90" mean?
We have tried to set up our pool for weeks now and we finally get everything we need, but I missplaced the manual and the DVD tells me nothing. When we start properly, it will work for a few seconds, then start beeping. The code "90" appears and I wonder what that means? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
It is a flow of water related issue. If you have a cartridge filter cleaning and operate well, I'd check the actual flow switch on the generator. If it was installed backwards or something is the cause of paste in the no flow position, it stops the cell receiving the juice to create chlorine as it is supposed to do. I also check that the cell itself is installed facing the right direction. There should be an arrow or "in", "Out" marked to indicate the correct direction of flow of water. If it is installed backwards, which you will have this error code 90 since the water flow switch will think there is no running water, when in fact it is … just behind the switch. It may even that the switch is well, but I would start my troubleshooting here. For the record: You direction of flow of water is as the cell (something with all cables connected to what looks like a tube) should be after the pump inlet, but just before returning to the pool. Is the direction of flow. If the "in" on the cell is right next to the actual pump .. you are connected properly. If it's pointing back to the pump … is false. same idea with the flow switch. If only one arrow and not "in / out", the arrow should point down the line to your back and no return to the pump.
