What is the difference between a steam bath and a sauna? Also what health benefits given to a person?
Very easy. In fact, it is called a dry sauna. So – a room full of moisture or a room filled with dry air. steam rooms should be around 112 to 118 degrees and saunas are often 140 or more. I personally go for the steam room. I live in the arid Southwest where rarely have more than 25% humidity. Even at 7000 'elevation. The air that is less than 15% moisture can dehydrate the lungs, especially in high heat. Most people think they can lose weight doing well, but all they do is the weight of the water drop. I can sit in the steam room for 15 minutes and drink a liter of water weighs 2 pounds and out of the same weight. The benefits are more dry and warm in the areas of high humidity in the sauna and the same with the steam in the areas of low moisture. The heat is good to loosen tight muscles and is good to stretch if you can rather than sit alone. Greetings.
