My pool is green, what do I do to clarify things?
I just moved into a new house last spring. I never owned a pool before, and this pool has been idle for three years. I had someone help me mount the pump, and it is During the past week now. When we opened it, it was dark, so I guess it's a step up. I have a floating chlorine tablets, and the color does not change after a bucket of shock, the pump for one week, and chlorine tablets. Should I add more shock to her, if so, how? This of pool 4 feet above ground oval in shape. Also, nobody knows where to go for cheap pool supplies online if I need more shock? One year we had trouble getting rid of the green in our pool we got green washing, it does the job. Have you checked the balance of the water? PH, alkaline and all?
